A Little About Sharon
Sharon prides itself on its natural beauty, and fairly early in its history developed as a popular summer resort. But the town is most famous, and most proud, of its native daughter Deborah Sampson Gannett, who had disguised herself as a man in order to fight in the Revolutionary War.
